How to Register For A CLASS

We allow our clients to register for a classes in advance to reserve their spots.  You can do this by coming by our downtown Cedar City location,  calling our yoga desk, or by doing it yourself using our booking management website Vagaro.  To use Vagaro you can either visit the Bristlecone Company Vagaro Page or download the Vagaro App.

Please Note: Bristlecone Company requires that you must be at least 18 years old to participate in a hot class. We also highly encourage that pregnant women avoid practicing hot yoga and other hot classes during pregnancy and only participate in other classes after consulting their physician.

MEMBERSHIP + WELLNESS

The Bristlecone Membership + Wellness is designed to take your complete health and wellness to a whole new level. You will have direct access to a wellness coach with 20+ years of fitness coaching experience who will guide you on the journey to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.
Because each Bristlecone Membership + Wellness client will receive intensive one on one training, there are only 20 packages available. Our wellness coach will talk you through the metaphysical changes in your mind, body and spirit as you are going through the physical changes and challenges of the program.

Included in the Bristlecone Membership + Wellness is all benefits of the standard membership such as unlimited classes, plus the following:
-Two 1-on-1 wellness sessions per month, where we will focus on intuitive eating, body positivity and movement that is best for our individual beings.
-Two Strength & Serenity Boot Camp classes offered first thing in the morning each week (Tuesday’s and Thursday’s) that are open only to exclusive members.
-For added support and encouragement, you will also have direct access to your coach via text, messenger or call during normal business hours.

Get a five class punch pass for $50.  The punch pass is good for any regular class and will expire 60 days after purchase.

Chelsee is the Co-Owner and Chief Meditation Officer here at Bristlecone Company. She was raised all over the country, but finally ended up in Cedar City attending Southern Utah University. Chelsee fell in love with Southern Utah, and then never left. She loves the healing desert and wonderful community that Cedar City has to offer. After teaching in public schools, she realized her place was teaching yoga and mindfulness to children. That is Chelsee’s passion and wants to share that with everyone she can.

Dennie has been instructing group fitness classes for 25 years. Her experience includes teaching a variety of classes including Step-Hi/Low & Water Aerobics, Strength, Yoga, Piyo, Kickboxing, and Cycling. She has also successfully led a number of fitness boot camps and health & wellness groups. Dennie has 15 years of experience as a personal trainer and has been trained in wellness coaching at the Health Coach Institute. She promotes intuitive eating, movement that honors the body and taking care of individual, spiritual and mental well being. Dennie is excited to be part of the evolution in body positivity and self love which are fundamental to Bristlecone’s mission.

Kaleb Smith has been a practitioner of mindfulness meditation since 2003. He was introduced to yoga on a personal level in 2010 by a colleague who gave him private instruction. In 2012 he experienced hot yoga for the first time and was immediately drawn to the intensity. Kaleb began apprenticing as a teacher of yoga in 2019 and soon began to deepen his practice to help establish Bristlecone.

Ashley Buckner is a Cedar City native and after spending twelve years in Southern California, she is grateful to be raising her family in our small community. During her time in San Diego, Ashley began taking barre classes and quickly became enamored with the focus the exercise offers on body awareness, posture work, and mental toughness. Within a year, she became a barre instructor and fell in love with helping others meet their fitness goals. Ashley is beyond excited to bring her passion for mental and physical wellness to the Bristlecone community. She will be teaching a barre-informed body sculpt class that will challenge students physically with small isometric moves, while also adding stretch sequences to enhance flexibility and create long, lean muscles. Ashley is a therapist by trade and primarily works with adolescents and young adults. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog.

Brooke attended her first yoga class back in 2012 at a gym. Not knowing anything about it, she assumed yoga wasn’t for her because she wasn’t “flexible”. She continued going and started to learn the different styles yoga had to offer. This is where she found her love for Power Vinyasa! This practice really resonated with Brooke. In 2017 she attended her first Hot Yoga class and she was hooked! That same year Brooke got her 200 hour RYT at BE Hot Yoga + BE University and started teaching right away.

Malia grew up in Las Vegas Nevada. Ever since Malia was little she loved to dance and move her body, so she pursued that passion of being a dancer. Malia attended Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts as a dance major and that brought her to Cedar City where she currently is studying dance at Southern Utah University. Her entire life she loved every aspect of the outdoors and connecting the earth with our soul, this lead Malia to her love for Yoga. Malia trained in Costa Rica for her RYT 200 hours as a yoga instructor to further her love for soul connecting. Her view of Yoga is infinite, she fins there are so many topics to include in a practice to heal, find love and rejuvenate our bodies. Malia says she is here to expand her knowledge of Yoga and to share her passion with everyone.

Sam will be teaching the sound bath class at Bristlecone, and she is am so excited! Sam has extensive experience with musics, and that is what drew her to sound healing. She is trained to teach Kundalini yoga, and Sam will be using that experience in her teaching at Bristlecone.

Tamara has been a certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor for over 20 years. She specializes in resistance training to HIIT and everything in between. Tamara loves to help empower people of all walks of life through finding joy in the journey of fitness. She is a mom of 5 and a grandma of 1 and is thrilled to be joining the Bristlecone team!

Amanda is an E-RYT 500 hour certified instructor and owned her own yoga studio in 2014. She has a deep respect and love for yoga philosophy. Yoga truly means to “Yoke”, or to combine the mind, body, and spirit through stillness and awareness. She loves to connect with people from all backgrounds and is so excited to be a part of the Bristlecone community. Amanda is a Mom to 3 young children and is married to her best friend. She is a homeschool mom who loves to travel and feels everything can be an adventure. She finds joy in stillness and simplicity and hopes to bring more of it into an overstimulated world.

Mari has practiced yoga for 20 years. She loves to run marathons and exercise for long periods of time so learning to stretch, heal and release her muscles became a game changer in her active life style. Learning to slow her mind body and spirit allowed her to enjoy life more and be more present. She has taught spin, ball, strength, pilates, step, treadmill and kickboxing but my mat is her favorite place to be.
Shelle Younkin

Shellee Younkin is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She did both her 200 and 300 hour trainings at Yoga on High in Columbus, OH. She had the chance to teach a wide variety of styles and classes at several gyms and yoga studios around the Columbus area prior to moving to Cedar City in June 2019. Shellee started yoga as a supplement to her dancing. She fell in love with the ability yoga had to help with depression, anxiety and help her feel more deeply connected to herself.  Shellee has a bachelor degree in Theatre with a dance minor from The Ohio State University in 2018 and loves to incorporate her knowledge from dance ad theatre to make fun and creative yoga classes.  You might see her in a dance class at SUU or hiking with her husband and two kids.

Audrey attended Wilmington Yoga Center for her teacher trainings; completing a 200hr training in 2016 and a 300hr training, with an emphasis on therapeutics, in 2018. Audrey started practicing yoga in 2012 and was originally drawn to yoga for the strength and flexibility experienced through the physical practice. She soon came to appreciate the space yoga offers to be present while aware of the body and mind. Audrey decided to deepen her practice and pursue the yoga teacher training as a compliment to her background as a Health & Wellness Coach. Audrey strives to bring a lightness to her classes while challenging students to consider what their body needs and mindfully go to their edge. Additionally, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Kennesaw State University and certificates from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Rouxbe Cooking School.
